Director Omar Akil is working on a documentary about the legendary Native Tongues Posse entitled Speaking In Tongues: The Legend of The Native Tongues Posse. To those of us old enough to remember the Native Tongues in the late 80's/early 90's, backing this project should be a no brainer.

Brooklyn emcee Talib Kweli has announced a European Tour De Force to finish off the year. The 20-date tour is set to run from the end of November in France, passing through Belgium, Ireland, the UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and wrapping up mid December in Amersterdam.

The 10th Annual How The Grouch Stole Christmas tour will indeed be "extra special" as The Grouch will be joined by the entire Living Legends crew. All 8 members; The Grouch, Murs, Eligh, Luckyiam, Sunspot Jonz, Scarub, Aesop, and Bicasso, will be backed by DJ Fresh. Supporting the tour will be LA's Evidence from Dilated Peoples, and Eligh's new group, Grand Tapestry will join on select dates.

Aesop Rock has announced a 37-date North American tour beginning November 5th in Austin, TX. The emcee will make a run around the continent with the company of Homeboy Sandman, Rob Sonic and DJ Zone. The tour is set to run through end of January, 2017 wrapping up in Toronto.
