VP Records Announce Record Store Day 2023

Get ready for Record Store Day which will be celebrated April 22nd, 2023. This years festivities will be recognized at the VP Records Retail Stores in both New York and Florida. Both locations will have selections of vinyl and CD's available for sale just for the occasion.

This year's two exclusive titles are Mr. Chatterbox by Bob Marley (7inch) and Everyman Ought To Know by Max Romeo (LP)

Record Store Day was conceived in 2007 at a gathering of independent record store owners and employees as a way to celebrate and spread the word about the unique culture surrounding nearly 1400 independently-owned record stores in the US and thousands of similar stores internationally. The first Record Store Day took place on April 19, 2008. Today, Record Store Day is celebrated at independently-owned brick-and-mortar record stores around the world.

Special vinyl and CD releases and various promotional products are made exclusively for the day with festivities including performances, DJs, cook-outs, meet and greets with artists and more.

The VP Records Retail Store in New York is located at 170-19 Jamaica Ave, Queens, NY 11432, the Florida store is located at 6022 SW 21st St, Miramar, FL 33023.
