While Irma is just now hitting the US mainland, the hurricane has already ravaged parts of the Caribbean. Reggae artist Mr. Vegas hopes to help raise funds for people affected in the region through a GoFundMe campaign along with a new single with all proceeds going to the Caribbean people.

Hits Pon Hits brings seasoned reggae musician Clinton Fearon to San Diego for a solo acoustic set Saturday, September 2nd alongside The Gladiators and Droop Lion, for a night of "true Jamaican music entertainment".

Reggae artists Tifa and Marlon Asher set to perform at the May 14th Mothers Day edition of Boomyard LA. The "Rum Punch Brunch", hosted by DJ Crooks, will also include sets by Samurasta, Tiger, Enroute, Daneekah as well as the debut of Kali Kush Sound.

One of California's biggest reggae festivals just finalized its lineup with the addition of the legendary Wailers, who will perform Legend in it's entirety at sunset on Sunday. The three-day event, which sold out last year, is set to take place in Long Beach at the Queen Mary February 10th-12th. The festival headliners include Slightly Stoopid, Rebelution, Dirty Heads & 311. Additional acts include Chronixx, Don Carlos, Israel Vibration and Steel Pulse as well as Hawaiian acts J Boog and The Green among many others.

Following a slew of singles, mixtapes and other features, Chronixx has finally announced the title of his first official LP. The album, titled Chronology, is set for an early 2017 release and will be supported by a 39-date North American tour with Zincfence Redemption.
