Representing Hip-Hop culture through the elements of breakin/poppin, rapping, deejaying, and graffiti art, this year's tagline is "reborn, refined by the fire, we are brand new". Established in 1994, The B-Boy Summit is an all-ages hip-hop event presented by No Easy Props taking place in Los Angeles, CA on Saturday, July 16th and Sunday, July 17th.
This years Summit will include a Breakin' Workshop, Graffiti Yard, a branded breakin' cypher area, kids craft area, vendors and food trucks. Highlights of this years event include a United Hip-Hop Vanguard Breakin & the Olympics Panel and showcases and performances by hip-hop legends like DJ Battlecat, The Far Side, Gaslamp Killer Experience featuring the Drumetrics, Grand Wizzard Theodore, Silky D & LA Smurf, Rokafella and DJ KS360.
This years DJ's are the legendary Mark Luv, Skeme Richards and Funk Freaks with hosting duties going to Funky Maya, Devious MZK, and Poptart on Saturday and Medusa on Sunday. This years battles include Alien Ness' Color Wars Crew Battle, Ken Swift & Zulu Gremlin's Bonnie & Clyde, a Poppin Battle, a B-Boy Solo Battle, B-Girl Solo Battle and a Kids Battle.
Saturday's festivities will have a $10 cover and takes place at Fiesta Hall, Plummer Park 1166 N Vista St, West Hollywood, CA 90046. Day Two is free and will take place in Downtown LA at Grand Park, 200 N Grand Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90012.
