King Addies Debuts World Fight Club
Jamaican sound system culture takes center stage in a brand new arena with the debut of World Fight Club (WFC).
King Addies Promotions will launch the all new international sound clash league in the heart of New York City, (North America’s iconic sound system culture scene), at Linden Hall, in Brooklyn. Dancehall and clash fans will witness US Rumble 2017 winner Platinum Kids (Aidonia's United States management team, and also one of NYC's hottest juggling sounds) battle it out with two sounds for the very first WFC Champion Belt.
The third contender is Brooklyn's Kosmik Sound. Although the youngest sound on the lineup, Kosmik comes to the WFC arena with veteran selector Johnny Killa, who's most notably known for being dancehall icon Matterhorn's selector for many years.
All 3 WFC contenders faced off in 2017 (along with 4 additional sounds) in US Rumble, and in a very unexpected upset the juggling sound, Platinum Kids, came out victorious. The contenders will now settle the score, once and for all, in a historic 3 way battle for the New York tri-state WFC title, and thereafter the winner will move on to defend the title versus sounds from other parts of the world.
World Fight Club Round One promises to be a historic night of great music, top tier talent and a serious battle of wits. Kingston's TV program "The Release" will be on site documenting the clash for a 19Million+ international audience on CIN, CVM, CEEN, Hype TV, and Ready TV in the Jamaica, the US, Canada, and other parts of the Caribbean.

Description
The second contender, New Jersey's King Shine, is known as the sound system 'dinosaur slayer' for having killed sound clash legends like Ricky Trooper (formerly of Jamaica's iconic Kilimanjaro Sound), as well as Pink Panther (formerly of Jamaica's legendary Black Kat sound). Most recently King Shine killed one of Brooklyn’s “Big Four”, the legendary Earthruler Sound—the clashes mentioned were all major attractions, however, some argue that they ended in controversy. The third contender is Brooklyn's Kosmik Sound.
